For technical information about what all these ingredients are actually doing in your drops, please refer to the TFOS DEWS II excerpt here. The list is mostly products sold as "Lubricant eye drops", however, I have also included "Multi-symptom" type drops because they are often labeled for dry eye but contain ingredients that are harmful for people who have dry eye.
